I logged into Wodstack today to see what my max was and I realized that I used to be way more focused at CF.
- 10 Muscleups in 5 min (09//10/11)
- 54 HSPU in 7 min (09/30/11)
- 205 Power Clean (02/11/12)
I don’t know if its the new gym or sporadic attendance or what but I want to make an effort at making an effort again. I was never the best but at least I was paying attention to getting better. That’s enough for me.
Hopefully, I can find that again soon. Today seemed to be a pretty good start.
Biggest Crossfit pet peeve…
the music.
I swear I do negative reps when Kesha or some bad metal comes on. Just once, I want to power clean and muscle up while Tron Cat by the Tyler, the Creator blasts over the speakers.
Gimme a deep bass and I swear to god I’ll PR to the devil’s soundtrack.

The best part was that as soon as i finished the final 400m I ran in and DMX was playing. It clicked. I was in the zone and I was motivated, focused and even though it took me a full minute to crank out that final muscle-up I got this WOD done!
